About this programme

The Impact Accelerator is a three-month, community-driven growth program from reSET (Social Enterprise Trust, Inc.), a Hartford-based nonprofit, for founders building for-profit businesses with a social, environmental, cultural, or economic impact.

reSET does not take equity in participating companies. The program blends in-person summits, virtual workshops, one-on-one coaching, and coworking access at reSET's Hartford office, and is built around Connecticut's Hartford and New Haven startup communities.

How it works

As run in its most recent cycle, the program combined 3 in-person Saturday summits, 7 virtual Wednesday evening workshops, 1 in-person Venture Showcase, 1:1 virtual coaching with a facilitator, and optional additional workshops, over three months (April to June).

The fee is $600 total, billed at $200 a month, covering up to 3 team members; each additional member is $50 a month.

Participants should expect to spend 5 to 10 hours a week outside scheduled sessions on homework covering customer discovery, pitching, and financials. Full-time commitment is not required, and solo founders are welcome.

Who can apply

Applicants need to show business traction: revenue generated, active fundraising, or meaningful customer validation, plus a clear value proposition and an understanding of their competitors.

The business must be for-profit with an identified social, environmental, cultural, or economic impact focus.

How to apply

  1. Apply through reSET's Google Form application.
  2. Watch the info session replay if you want more detail on the program before applying.
  3. Sign up for reSET's alert list to be notified when the next application window opens.
