About this programme
The Nevada APEX Accelerator is a free, taxpayer-funded program run by Nevada's Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) under a cooperative agreement with the Department of War, to help Nevada businesses win government contracts.
The goal is to increase the flow of local, state, and federal government dollars to Nevada companies, supporting job creation, retention, and business expansion. It targets businesses that find government contracting too complicated and overwhelming to pursue on their own, and connects them to buying offices and prime contractors instead.
Services are provided without charge to for-profit businesses in any Nevada county.
How it works
The program offers six categories of support: education (workshops, webinars, one-on-one discussions on government contracting), marketing (promoting client firms and connecting them to buying offices), procurement technical assistance (help with quotes, bids, proposals, and compliance), support documentation (forms, specifications, and regulatory guidance), e-commerce (access to purchasing office databases and bid downloads), and networking assistance (visibility enhancement and teaming opportunities).
Businesses work with a government contracts advisor at either the Las Vegas or Carson City office.
Who can apply
Open to for-profit businesses located in any Nevada county. No specific industry is excluded.
The business should be pursuing, or want to pursue, contracts with the U.S. Department of War, other federal agencies, state or local governments, or prime contractors.

- Complete the Client Questionnaire Form, which requires a wet (physical) signature.
- Submit the completed questionnaire to the nearest office.
