FORGE, Inc. is a nonprofit CDFI (Community Development Financial Institution), 501(c)(3), and SBA Intermediary Microlender headquartered in Huntsville, Arkansas. It has operated since 1988, which it describes as making it the oldest revolving community loan fund in Arkansas.
FORGE's stated mission is to promote community development and improve the quality of life and economic sustainability of agrarian communities, by connecting investors with borrowers, linking urban and rural communities, matching consumers with producers, and providing affordable credit to low-income groups.
