About this programme
The Delaware Accelerator and Seed Capital Program (DASCP) is run by the Delaware Division of Small Business (DSB) as one of four programs funded by the $60.9 million Delaware received from the U.S. Treasury's State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI).
DASCP exists to strengthen early-stage capital access for high-impact startups, stepping in with direct state investment once a company has already completed a seed round.
How it works
The state makes direct investments of up to $1,000,000 per company, made after the company has completed a seed round.
Priority goes to companies that can demonstrate 1:1 matching funds alongside the state's investment.
The Division of Small Business also runs a related startup program, the Delaware Early Stage Venture Capital Program (DESVCP), alongside DASCP, though the official page gives few details on it beyond noting it supports startups in the same way.
Who can apply
The company must have 100 or fewer employees.
The company must have an identified lead negotiator.
Priority is given to companies that can bring 1:1 matching funds to the investment.
