About this programme

The Small Employer Quality Jobs Program pays qualifying small Oklahoma employers a quarterly cash incentive to encourage job creation and payroll growth. It is run by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.

How it works

Quarterly incentive payments can be as much as 5% of new taxable payroll, paid for up to 7 years.

New jobs must pay at least 110% of the average county wage, though some counties qualify for a lower 100% threshold (check the Department's interactive incentives map).

The business must reach 35% out-of-state sales in years 1 and 2, rising to 60% out-of-state sales from year 3 onward.

Who can apply

The business must have 500 or fewer employees.

New jobs created must meet the county wage threshold (110%, or 100% in certain designated counties).

The business must hit the out-of-state sales percentages required for its program year.

How to apply

  1. Call the Oklahoma Department of Commerce at 800-588-5959 for a no-cost analysis and application assistance.
