How it works
Microloans go up to $50,000 and target sole proprietors in business less than two years, usually for equipment, site improvements, inventory, and working capital.
Small Business Loans are for larger amounts than the microloan tier, aimed at maturing businesses that need capital for site expansion, machinery, working capital, or inventory.
Finanta also runs targeted programs: Affinity Group Lending (microlending in Philadelphia), the Camden Strong Loan Fund (for businesses in Camden's Urban Enterprise Zone), and the Creative Business Loan Fund in Pennsylvania.
Who can apply
The business must be located within Finanta's 16-county Pennsylvania footprint, its 3-county Delaware footprint, or Camden County, New Jersey.
