About this programme
The CO.LAB Accelerator, run by The Company Lab (CO.LAB) in Chattanooga, is a six-week intensive startup accelerator for early-stage, venture-backable companies working on movement-related technology. It focuses on transportation, infrastructure, energy and data management, and connects startups to corporate partners rather than running a generic mentorship track.
Instead of open enrollment, CO.LAB first works with its industry partners to identify their innovation needs, then recruits startups whose products match. Every participant is placed with an industry partner, and the program says more than 20 alumni companies have gone on to active pilots with their industry partner.
How it works
The program runs six weeks and ends in a pitch event to investors and customers. CO.LAB works with 15 or more major industry partners, and the accelerator's placement model gives startups access to potential customers and infrastructure providers as part of the program, not just advice.
Who can apply
Early-stage, venture-backable startups using emerging technology, based in or relocating to Chattanooga.
Startups should already show real traction, meaning they are post-revenue or running in-market pilots.
Target sectors include connected and autonomous vehicles, supply chain/logistics/freight tech, EVs and charging/battery/grid optimization, energy innovation and grid tech, predictive analytics and mobility data, smart infrastructure and sensors, and quantum applications for mobility, energy or infrastructure.
How to apply
- Apply online through the application form on thecompanylab.org.
