About this programme
The Business Accelerator Program (BAP) is the flagship initiative of the University of Charleston's Downtown Innovation Hub, located at Capitol and Lee Streets in downtown Charleston, West Virginia. It supports established small businesses in the greater Charleston Metro area with mentorship and training aimed at accelerating growth and sustainability.
The program is grant-funded, so selected businesses pay no direct program expenses. UC says the package of workshops, coaching, and tools it provides carries over $80,000 in total value.
Graduates can go on to join Merge @ the DIH, a members-only collaboration space shared with Founders Forum participants, an existing community of more than 20 established entrepreneurs connected to the hub.
How it works

It includes high-impact facilitated workshops, one-on-one coaching and mentoring, and custom modules built around software tools and certifications, including Digital Marketer strategy training, plus networking with other business owners.
