About this programme
The Contract Loan program is a direct loan from the Wyoming Business Council (WBC), built to let a Wyoming business take on a larger order than it could otherwise afford by financing the raw materials the contract requires. It operates under Wyoming Statute 9-12-301(a)(xi).
The loan exists specifically to fund raw materials needed to fulfill a signed contract; it is not general working capital.
How it works
The borrower assigns the contract proceeds and the purchased raw materials to WBC as collateral.
Interest runs from 4% up to Prime plus 2%, with a minimum origination fee of 1%. The business must contribute at least 10% of the raw material costs itself.
Full repayment is due within 15 calendar days of the final contract payment, and the loan term cannot exceed 2 years.
Who can apply
The business must need financing specifically for raw materials to fulfill a signed contract it has already won.
Applicants must show two bank denial letters and contribute at least 10% of the raw material costs themselves.
How to apply
- Obtain two bank denial letters showing you could not get conventional financing.
- Compile the required documentation for your application.
- Submit a complete application through WBC's online form.
- Secure approval from the WBC Board.
- Close the loan and receive disbursed funds.
