ASIC late fee calculator

Miss the annual review date and ASIC adds a late fee. Go past a month and it jumps to a much larger one. The review fee itself is unchanged, so the whole difference is avoidable.

You choosehow late the payment is and your company type.
It appliesASIC's two-tier late fee — one band up to a month, a much larger one beyond it — on top of the annual review fee itself.
You getthe total payable, so the cost of drift is a number rather than a vague worry. These fees index every 1 July.

A worked example

Pay an annual review a month late and ASIC adds the first-tier fee; go past a month and it jumps to the second tier, several times larger. The review fee itself is unchanged — the late fee is pure avoidable cost.

An estimate, not a quote. ASIC produces the figure that actually applies to you — check there before you rely on a number. The fee on your actual annual statement or invoice governs — this does not include the separate late fee for notifying incorrect annual-statement details, or strike-off risk if a company stays unpaid.

What this deliberately leaves out

Deregistration action under s601AA/601AB, late fee waivers for circumstances beyond your control, and fees for any document other than the annual review itself are not modelled here. All four figures index on 1 July each year, so they move annually — verified 2026-08-17 against asic.gov.au.

Would you rather we handled it?Late ASIC fees compound fast — clean company records make the next one avoidable.

What to do with this number: The amount printed on the annual statement ASIC issues is the one that governs. These fees index every 1 July, so a figure you saved last year is probably already stale.
